Mexican hat times cos(t)

Equation: z = (1 - (x^2 + y^2)/8) * exp(-(x^2 + y^2)/8) * cos(t)

When cos(t) changes sign, the central peak becomes a well. The graph is a single spatial mode oscillating in time.
